Begin by laying down the basic colours and progressively add more layers of detail. Always remember to flip your canvas at least 3 times throughout the process. Don’t overdo it. Remember the lighting and environment is one of the biggest factors in creating a realistic/semi realistic rendering style. Be patient and don’t be afraid to start over if needed.
