“Now remember, this was just our first layer and we want to go in with subsequent layers. Now, what looks really nice is when you allow parts of the under layer to show through. That's what's going to give it depth. I'll show you what I mean. So on this piece that's dry, We know when we put paint on this, it isn't going to budge. So for my subsequent layers, i would generally go a little bit darker, a little bit pastier. So I'm just going to do a random shape.
