“The Hair and Background All right, let's work on the hair. You can see we transferred the image and mapped out the dark areas in the whole hairline. I've been working on this half. Basically, we have to preserve the spaces between white hairs to make them visible and recognizable. We also can't fully shade in those areas because there are also some hairs within them. So, we'll give it a dark value but we'll also work with stronger colors to draw the internal hairs that appear in the back. He went on to teach typography at the University of Buenos Aires from 1991 to 1999, then between 2002 and 2004 he was a teacher at the Escuela de Creativos Publicitarios. It is there that he currently works as a designer and illustrator, as well as running a drawing and illustration workshop in Buenos Aires.
