great course. this is a simple, narrowed down course for people who want to learn how to draw human figure but dont want to dive too much into harder parts like anatomy and dynamic poses etc

The teacher has a warm smiling and zen like personality. Teaching is smooth and stress-free. Breaks things down in to easy manageable bits. More of a pop-drawing course, rather than academic, which is what, I guess, most people want.

Great simple breakdown for creating a scene with figures.
The course title only mentions figures but there is allot more.
Keeping things simple lets them work on their own.

PlusThis is a course I have reviewed many times. I appreciate Tom's skills and teaching style. Just as important are his smile and self-deprecating humor. They add personality that makes watching his instruction fun and engaging.

Why is the same set up, artist sits at his desk, talks about himself, his influences etc. little actual work that is ha4 to see and little interaction. I tried a few domestika courses but I find them bor8ng and dry and not feeling inspired after them. I think I stick with other online courses, much more to learn from them, better camera shots to see and follow things and much more inspiring.

The most helpful course I have taken on the subject. Thank you.

Good course, although I found it difficult to follow.

The instructor skillfully starts at basics of drawing and systematically advances students to draw the human figure to look 3-d. He stresses two concepts: overlap and taper.
