This course is great for the intermediate student. Each lesson is so packed with information (from simple construction to value building) that you have to watch it more than once in order to absorb it all. Everything you’ll learn here will serve you not just for portraiture drawing. I haven’t expected less from Dan but still, the course exceeded my expectations and helped me overcome a block I had, simply by changing my point of view and approach for a while.

Dan is a gifted artist and teacher. Just witnessing the way he observes his subject has already made me a better artist. His knowledge of anatomy is second to none and this course is paced perfectly. Highly recommended.
