“Reverse stitch Once you master the knit stitch, we introduce a new type of basic stitch. In this lesson, we will learn how to reverse stitch. The reverse stitch, contrary to what happened with the knit stitch, does not knit on its own, needs a straight knit base to form a tissue. We will knit one pass with the reverse stitch and one with the knit stitch to form the single stitch or stockinette stitch. To knit the reverse stitch, we will start from a base of mounted stitches.
