Laura has a non-intimidating approach to getting started to paint with watercolors that is both refreshing and stress free. She teaches with a lot of free flow and encourages the painter to not judge their work or the process but rather explore and play with different colors, techniques and the like. Very enjoyable course with no pressure for perfection.

The teacher's approach is refreshing and inspiring!

I thought that Laura McKendry is a good teacher who does well to introduce someone to the art
of doing watercolour in a very simple encouraging and playful manner. Her free-ness and enthusiasm
for doing a medium that can be intimidating, is commendable.

I like the freedom of watercolor usage. On my next visit to Fort Warden I plan to work this approach.

un cours très ludique, qui permet de découvrir une nouvelle approche du carnet de croquis, même pour ceux qui pratiquent déjà. il permet de sortir un peu de "l'académique" je dirais. très bon cours pour débutant en tout cas. bravo.
