Mariah Escossia is the artist behind Bordados pra Iaiá, where she creates both signature and commissioned pieces depicting female strength, combining embroidery textures with the free-flowing nature of watercolor.

She is passionate about tattoos, old photographs, and art nouveau paintings. When embroidering, painting, or drawing, she is overcome by a state of peaceful concentration. For her, art is therapy, revolution, and a safe space.
