“Painting the Elements In this lesson we're going to proceed to paint the individual elements that will make up our final piece. I'm going to proceed and paint them in gouache, but you can use the medium of your choosing. Even, if you prefer, you can do it digitally. I'm going to sketch very lightly and loosely the shape of my flower overall as a guide. Next, I'm going to proceed to add the first layer of the paint.
