“Preparing the Assets In this lesson I'll show you how to prepare the assets for your patterns. So you can create a complete set with all the formats necessary. Many of the pattern making techniques I showed you before use instances, meaning representation of vector illustrations that, however, don't bear any anchor points. Though instances makes your pattern much lighter, because they don't have anchor points, for the same reason, you might be asked to provide real patterns with the anchor points. In other words, you must convert into vectors all your symbols, your pattern swatches, brushes...”
