“Coming Up with Original Concepts from Our Brief In the last lesson we talked about the importance of thumbnail sketches and how you should do them for the client. In this lesson we'll focus on how I take the brief and come up with new ideas through my conceptualization. As I've said, there's no one right way to approach an illustration. Everyone has a different voice and perspective, so there's tons of solutions to come up with a good concept for an illustration. My personal approach is I like to try and come up with more smart, creative and sometimes funny ideas using symbols and metaphors...”
