About the final project for: Creating Children's Stories

Creating Children's Stories

“I hope you enjoyed our journey! I started by introducing myself, talking about my origins and experiences, and how it all impacts a writer's life, after all we are made of memories. I also shared with you some of my influences, expanding repertoires is fundamental for a creator. I invited him to carry out his final Project speaking to be attentive to ants and not to elephants. And to understand what that means I started to bring my personal experiences and how they turned me into a writer. From the girl who told me: "IF YOU DON'T KNOW, INVENT", until my work with hospitalized babies, the learning was intense. The result of all this experience reported here produced three literary roads that I also shared with you. And from that, the choice for our final Project was a narrative of everyday life. I hope you already have your "daily fishing rod" ready to tackle your theme. But the theme alone doesn’t lead to anything, I shared a narrative structure that should help you put together your story. I spoke of the five points: MISSION, TRAVEL, OBSTACLE, ASSISTANCE AND RESOLUTION, of the narrative times, but it is always good to reinforce, DO NOT INTELLECTUALIZE or RATIONALIZE your creation too much, the child is not concerned with psychology or education, he wants a story that he talks to her heart.

I also touched a little on the importance of illustration and getting to know the editorial houses.
I wrote my story, "WHAT LANGUAGE IS THAT?", In the process of our journey, now I want you to go out on your fishing trip and bring a beautiful example of everyday life. Prepare it in the most creative way possible and serve it so that everyone can taste it.
WHAT LANGUAGE IS THAT? João loved Saturday, it was his day to go to the square near his house and play with the children in the neighborhood and others who always showed up there. As soon as the alarm went off, he jumped out of bed and ran into the bathroom, he couldn't let his younger sister in before him, if that happened he would have to wait half a century before she got out. Upon leaving the bathroom, he met with his sister and said: - "Vrienda uk beliskas" - What language is that? Asked the sister, entering the bathroom never to leave. João was surprised by what had just come out of his mouth, but he continued on his way. He changed his clothes and ran to the kitchen for breakfast. Upon arriving the mother said: - Do you want chocolate milk? - "Nari dunga!" - What language is that? Asked the mother. João started to get worried, he didn't know what was happening and said to his mother: - "Liu Quemá nestra Churras!" - João, I don't understand anything! Stop this joke! I have a lot to do, I imagine you don't want milk today. The boy started to get really worried and if nobody ever understood him again, he ran to his room and decided to go to the square, maybe there someone would help him. The square was full of children from the neighborhood and other neighborhoods, he saw his group playing ball, approached and said: - "Peli di fi lo lipem! Vrotor tarator!" - What language is that? - everyone asked. And João could only pronounce words that nobody understood, his friends started laughing at him over and over. The boy was sad and went to sit under a tree, there he saw that one of the boys who ran with the group dropped without realizing a bag of marbles. He got up and went to get the bag, as soon as the game was over he approached the boy who had lost the marbles and said, showing what he had in his hands: - "Vragora gomera lutiba merole pum." - What did you say? Asked the boy. - "Vragora gomera lutiba merole pum." - That I farted? And what are you doing with my marble bag! You stole? - "Diem!" Shouted João. After that "diem" a confusion started, everyone shouting at João thinking he had stolen the boy and on top of that calling him a pimp. The mess just didn't turn into an ugly fight because a girl João's age, who had seen the whole scene, including the bag of marbles falling from the boy's pocket, got into the mess and said: - I saw everything that happened! You dropped that marble bag on the floor and it picked it up and is returning it. João looked at the girl and in a thankful tone said: - "Metuki yefo bidu." And to the general astonishment, the girl replied: - "Emet motek." Everyone laughed now at the girl and decided to go to another place in the square, João opened a smile and said: - "Lestus brutis desocos mocus." "Yes, I understand your language perfectly," said the girl. She then told João that one day she also woke up speaking a language that no one understood, it seemed that she lived on a different planet from the others, but over time she found other children who also felt the same way. - Sometimes it seems that nobody understands us, doesn't it? - "Nari" When talking more with the girl, whose name was Sofia, João gradually realized that his language was returning to normal. - Sofia, very "thank you", ops, I think I still have some extraterrestrial words stuck in my throat. The two laughed at the “obrigadis”, agreed to meet the other Saturday in the square and said goodbye. The next Saturday, João ran to have his breakfast, while at the table, his younger sister arrived, the mother looked at the daughter and asked: - Marina, do you want bread with curd? - "Mutandes alleys!" - What language is that, Marina? Said the mother. João got up from the table, patted his sister on the head and ran to the square. THE END
I will be here, whenever possible, to answer any questions that may arise. I only ask for a little patience if my answer takes a while, this could be a sign that I am in the middle of "fishing". :) Share your final Project with your classmates and with the entire creative community that we have here, it is always good to hear feedback from several different readers. After all, we will also be readers of each other, take this opportunity and participate in the forum! Until later! ”
