I had taken Chinese brush painting lessons long ago and needed some inspiration to start brush painting again. I was also curious about any differences between Chinese brush painting and sumi-e painting. I'm pleased that I signed up for this workshop. It's an excellent review and adds to my understanding to how to handle the brush and ink. I highly recommend it for beginners and more advanced students. The teacher is excellent and creates a calm atmosphere in her videos.

Excellent course. Very detailed, with clear explanations. The instructor takes you through a logical series of steps, increasing in complexity, to achieve wonderful results.
