Introduction to Sumi-e Painting

Great course for beginners! Koshu gently introduces the sumi painting technique, methodically, with small steps and little bites at a time. Taking her time to build the course, with little but crucial technicalities, starting the with ink densities and brush types, paper types/gauge and soaking the art paper for desired smudge effects! then of course the different types of strokes, ways to steady the hand/wrist/arm.
This gorgeous art style becomes accessible to anyone with enough dedication.
