“Mixing Paint In this lesson we'll talk about mixing paint. In watercolor, mixing paint is inevitable. You can get so many different choices of colors just from a handful of pigments. However, you can't really go overboard with it, because if you don't know what happens when mixing two colors together, it can easily get muddy and dull your painting. So, we'll go over the basics of mixing watercolor paint using the color wheel. This is the color wheel that I have in my studio and I use it to guide me when choosing colors to mix together.
