“Watercolor Techniques Now we'll cover different watercolor techniques and textures that you can achieve. I will also cover common mistakes to avoid while achieving these effects. Let's start with a grid on our watercolor paper. I'll be making tick marks on the sides of the paper to establish my grid. It'll be three squares by three squares.
