Luis San Vicente is a renowned graphic designer who specializes in children's illustration. He studied graphic communication design at the UAM in Mexico and before graduating, he also started working for the illustration and design studio Tané. It was there that he discovered and fell in love with the magic of children's illustration.
He worked as Arts Director for the newspaper Reforma for almost 20 years, where he also contributed as an illustrator. He has also illustrated more than 40 books and his illustrations have appeared on posters, in magazines, and even short films, as well as being exhibited in various countries around the world including Mexico, Spain, Japan, South Korea, Cuba, France, Chile, and Columbia.
