About the final project for: DIY Interior Makeovers: Reinventing a Space

DIY Interior Makeovers: Reinventing a Space

“Thanks for reaching the end of this course, congrats! Before saying goodbye, I want to explain what I wish to see in your Final Project. You will be researching your style, looking for inspiration that resonates with you to create your own style so you can do a makeover of a space from a scheme you have designed.

To support the final images you will also need to provide a mood board showing your inspiration for the makeover. The list of plans you need to do to make your idea real, the analysis of why you like certain things like the use of colour, and layouts of places like hotels, retail spaces, and residential interiors.
And finally, with your final photos, it would be great if you add a supporting text stating why you selected to work on that place, if you have more clear now which is your own style and if you decided to embellish a piece tell me why you did it and how. Do not forget to share the before and after or your makeover project.
Remember to have some fun and experiment. If something doesn’t turn out the way you like it, think about what it is specifically what you don’t like about this as it will help you correct it quickly. Don’t panic if things don’t go according to your plan the first time, this will help you learn by making a few mistakes along the way. Sometimes the more mistakes you make, the better you will become as you will learn what you can do better next time. As a final tip, pay more attention than you did before to why you are making some decisions as a designer because those choices will help influence your decisions in future projects. Here’s the secret for making an incredible makeover… prepare, prepare, prepare. The more you think about the task and understand what is involved, the more you will keep your project on track. Be as organized as possible and plan your steps! Also, be realistic about what you can achieve, and don’t overstretch yourself if you are unconfident. Start small and build up your skills, the more you practice the better your skills will become. Trust what you have learned with this course, be confident, and follow the key steps I shared with you to complete a successful makeover. It's been a pleasure to guide you in this process and to share with you my vision of DIY makeovers! I can't wait to see your results! If you have any doubt don't forget to use the forum and don't miss the chance to build a community by commenting on your colleagues' works. Wish you all the best! Have fun! See you soon. ”
