About the video: Influences

Overview

“In this lesson, I will talk about my influences and what inspires me, introducing some of my absolute favourite storytellers in the field of manga. These artists have shown me what kind of stories I want to make and how to bring this art form to its fullest potential. They each work with different styles and genres, which has broadened my own creativity and is definitely something I would encourage you to do as well. Now, let me show you why I get inspired by these very opposing creations, and how I pick and choose what to get inspired by. ”

In this video lesson Natalia Batista addresses the topic: Influences, which is part of the Domestika online course: Manga Comics for Beginners: From Concept to Creation.
