“Layer One, Paint In this lesson, we will begin by sketching out the big shapes that will be in our final illustration and then we will paint the first layer. So, for the final image, I'm going to use this sketch again with this color palette and I will do that on a new page. Remember to put a loose sheet of paper in between the pages. Otherwise, they will smudge on top of each other. It's nice to have the little sketch of the final image close to you. Now we will copy the big shapes that we will paint.
