“Print In this class, I will talk about printing, Which for me is the coolest part of the process. Here we will take the matrix, we will ink it and we will put it on paper. Before starting printing, we have to see the size of the matrix and find a suitable paper for it. For example, in this case, we have a matrix of approximately 14 x 20. Luciano Ogura is a São Paulo-born Brazilian visual artist. No sooner had he graduated in architecture from Mackenzie Presbyterian University, than he set off on his adventure as an artist. He specialized in woodcut, and now has over 20 years' experience.
Throughout his career, he's participated in individual and group exhibitions in different countries including Brazil, Germany, and Argentina. He works with woodcut, linocut, and art books, focusing mainly on urban themes such as decadent metropolis architecture and street dogs. He has also been teaching woodcut at various cultural centers since 2012.
