The first one will have to be Bruno Munari, an Italian artist, designer, illustrator, thinker, researcher on subjects as creativity, and didactic. He is a master on variations of the codex format. He plays with the book as an art object like nobody else. He varies opacities of the paper, he changes the finishing, he cuts holes, he opens windows... He plays a lot with the structure of the book.
