Overview
“During this lesson, you will get to render the hair and apply any final abstract elements. You will also get to make any final checks and finishing touches on symmetry, drawing, finer details, and tonal values. This is in many ways the most important part of the drawing and can often take longer than the other sections. ”

“Render hair and abstract elements In this lesson we'll do all of the finishing touches. We'll gonna make sure all our tonal values are right, the symmetry is right and add abstract elements and hair for instance, as well. Although these might seem fairly minor things to do, in many ways they are the most important, because this will be what makes the portrait finally work. I'm gonna start first of all doing a little bit more work on the hair and background 'cause I don't wanna leave it to the very end. I want them almost to merge into one with the face so they're not all different elements....”
