Every technique is thoroughly explained & demonstrated.
Most of all, I really enjoyed learning how to create a beautiful charcoal portrait!

I have learnt so much from Sarah’s courses. I almost think of her as a friend, someone that you would feel comfortable exposing your work to in order to get feedback from. Her style of teaching is extremely informative, well paced and surprisingly relaxing. Many thanks! 😍

Hi everyone,
I like the tone of the teacher's voice and confidence,but expected more evidence on tone differences from pencil to ch.stick, before the eye exercise.
Also, watching through to the "Rendering Hair and Abstract Elements 1" lesson I've noticed a great part from about minute 7 though to 16:23 where there is no sound of her voice, or music.The viewer falls into a trance which is quite tiring. Would recommend this course to intermediate students rather than beginners.

I LOVED this course she explains what type of supplies you need. Why you need them and how to use them. She goes into detail in the simplest way. Course was easy to understand. I definitely recommend I plan to rewatch. Also plan on buying her watercolor course. 5 stars

Although I haven't finished yet I really appreciate Sarah's style of teaching and her skills. She's revived my interest in charcoal drawing after years of doing other art forms.

This has given me the confidence to explore charcoal drawing. Sarah is so calm and breaks each step down into achievable parts allowing you to develop your skills quickly. I love the exercises, and she shares her own journey making it feel like a1:1 tutorial.
