“Complementary colours Now we'll talk about complementary colours and colouring one of our previous sketches with opposite colours of the colour wheel to add contrast. The colour wheel is a way of arranging colours to see which ones work together and which don't. Here I've got one laid out using the Posca pens available and we have warm colours on one side and cool colours on the other. Moving from the inside to the outside they get more saturated and darker. Considering the colour wheel, we can use colours from opposite sides to create contrast. This can be used to highlight areas and blend...”
