“Influences In this lesson I'll tell you about my influences. Since I was small, I used to see the magazines my parents bought with jokes and graphic humor. The most notable in my childhood was Quino. So I'd often copy his drawings and here, for example, I did a joke I saw in a magazine. What struck me about his drawings were the details he added. He used to say he was bad at drawing, but in his drawings I saw a solidness and detail that really struck me. Then, as I got older, I was quite struck by the artist Diego Velázquez.
