“Shading and Details How do we choose darker and lighter shades of colors? First, with the command I or with the Eyedropper tool. Usually, if I’m here, I’ll move down toward the blacks in parallel. If I want a brighter color, I’ll move diagonally toward white. Sometimes, we don’t want to stay within the same range. Sometimes, I like to use variants of the surrounding colors.
