“We have now reached the very final step of the production! The underglaze on the vase should have dried and it is time to give the vase one final finishing touch: transparent glaze. Note that this is a step that is optional and that, depending on which type of underglaze you have used to decorate your pieces, the results may become very nice without a transparent glaze, too. In general, though, underglaze will intensify your colors and give it an extra shine. It will also make your vase more water-resistant. ”
