“Leaving the Nest Now you have your final drawing, I hope you are very proud of it, and in this lesson we'll learn how to scan it so you can put it online, make prints of it, and have a backup. The thing I do to really finish the drawing is signing it. So, I came up with the idea, I made a setup of it in pencil to translate the idea to the paper and I'm very happy with the result. I'm happy with the different textures in this drawing, the wood, the skin of the hippo, the feathers, and the feet of the heron. Hatching really helps to characterize the different textures.
