The Art of Mandala Drawing: Create Geometric Artwork

“Congratulations on completing this course on how to draw a mandala! You now know about the history and meaning of the mandala and how to find inspiration. You practiced different techniques and planned out your design. You then drew your final mandala artwork in pen after sketching ideas in pencil.

Make sure to upload your finished work as well as all of the steps you took to get there. It will be helpful for everyone to see and compare the journey that each student has gone through. Your contribution is valuable, your work is great and you should be proud of it so upload it. I can’t wait to see your process!
I hoped you enjoyed the process while drawing. It is a meditative experience spending time with the repetition of patterns. Remember that nothing in life is ever perfect, so embrace the little imperfections as a beautiful reminder that this is a hand-drawn artwork. One of the wonderful parts of mandala drawing is how the lessons carry forward into our lives. Just as our artworks have imperfections, so do we. However, when you zoom it out, both in the mandala and your life, the entire picture is beautiful. Every time I draw a mandala I relearn the value of patience and perseverance. I remind of the immense connection between ourselves and our world and between us all. A mandala is a powerful tool that allows us to reflect on our inner world whilst observing the universe beyond us. I hope that you feel a deeper sense of being through this experience of learning about and drawing a mandala. There are infinite sources of inspiration out there! it's worth spending a bit of time to find the things that spark your interest so that the mandala you create is unique and original. Thank you for joining me on this course. I'll answer your questions and view your projects as soon as I can, but please excuse me if I'm a couple of days late as I'm usually working on several commissions and projects. Make sure to support, comment on, and give tips to each other's uploads and projects. Let's create a community of passionate mandala makers and learn from each other. Speak soon, Lizzie Snow fortyonehundred ”
