Introduction to Children’s Illustration

Gostei muito do curso de Ilustração Infantil, de Adolfo Serra. Estou trabalhando nas três ilustrações solicitadas. Estou indo devagar porque não tenho muito tempo, mas eles estão marchando. As indicações de Serra são muito boas, claras, precisas e de grande valor para quem queremos ilustrar. Ele também é um excelente ilustrador. Eu recomendo este curso.

I am really, really enjoying this course. It’s fascinating, thought-provoking and inspiring. I feel so incredibly prepared to attempt my first children’s book illustration - I’m already an arty person, but I’ve never tried illustration before - I was offered an illustration job, but needed a bit of confidence before I could accept it. This has been the perfect impetus. What a lovely, clear-speaking teacher, and a well-structured course. Thank you!

I loved Adolfo’s workshop! He speaks clearly and maintained my interest throughout the entire series of lessons. He has definitely inspired me! I am excited about going to play in my studio. I've been searching for a course like this for so long. It is clear and full of advice and guidance that helped me see how to take an idea through to finished illustration. I've learned it is ok to want to illustrate in different mediums - to not be overwhelmed by that and that my style lies within my interpretations and not my choice of tools.

Absolutely loved this course. He explains in details different illustration techniques. Smooth tone of voice makes it even more enjoyable. Looking forward to start my first illustration.

I really love the course! What a pleasant surprise to be learning about the monotype and to see how the course author goes through different techniques. This course is exactly what I needed to give me the push to explore more. What's also great are the additional resources at the end of the modules (i.e. names of different artists to get to know and links to their blogs, work, videos. I definitely recommend to anyone who wishes to know more about illustration and art in general. Awesomeb stuff:)

I truly love this course for so many reasons. First of all to get some in depth insight into the process and inspirations of such a talented illustrator. Looking at all the beautiful art is a feast for the eye. Learning about the techniques used is so wonderful and inspiring. And seeing the way Adolfo Serra envisions children’s stories that we all know in a completely new way is a big inspiration!

Hola, en realidad a penas voy empezando. Estoy en la unidad dos. Aún así estoy muy contenta con el curso, la manera de llevarlo, los consejos y las muestras de parte del profesor me motivan mucho a seguir con esto y más.
