Introduction to Children’s Illustration

I found the course really inspiring! I have been illustrating with watercolour for a while, but this course has motivated me to explore new media and to become more creative. I really enjoyed the section on where to find inspiration and I have looked at the work of photographers in a whole new way - finding many that I love and have never noticed before. I would highly recommend and thank you for this brilliant course!

Since starting this course I have been very motivated to enhance my illustration portfolio. Adolfo is a very spontaneous and inspiring artist whose creative ingenuity has made my art practice easy and fun. His assignments are very fitted to the modern market.

This course won't teach you how to draw (in case it is not clear), but it inspires you to think outside the box and to find what is unique about you and your expression that will make you different from everyone else. Lots of ideas, visuals, advice, overview of the creative and interpretative process, as well as different techniques and materials that can be used in illustration. Would definitely recommend! :)

I really like the units and am enjoying the course. I am finding the site very difficult to navigate though. I'm hoping I'll start to understand it soon.

I loved this course! It's full of very practical tips and really shows the possibilities of illustrating for children's books - or, indeed, for other purposes. The principles and techniques are highly applicable. But, the process of coming up with a new take on a familiar story was new to me and is very useful.
