“Introduction Welcome to this course. I'm María Ramos, author of children's books. What I like about illustration is narrating with images, whether in an illustrated book, picturebook or comic. My target audience is children. The other thing I like about illustration is character design. Since I published "Picnic", which is about recycling and food, I've drawn lots of food characters, like a sad bread, a hairy egg, a French cheese, angry lemons and many more.
