So I went down to this village to meet Don Ramon, the owner of the broomstick factory. And he gave me a tour and showed me around and told me how it worked. All the pine wood comes from forests that are maximum 40 kilometers around the village. The wood that is specifically used to make broomstick are actually remanences of the plank making process.
