About the final project for: Vectorized Lettering: From Sketch to Screen

Vectorized Lettering: From Sketch to Screen

“We have reached the end of the course, but this is the beginning of a new stage together. Now it is your turn. I invite you to create your final project. You can do something different than what I showed you and apply it to new ideas. Take this opportunity to practice and grow your portfolio. Submit it when you complete it. Thus, I can see what came up with and thus give you feedback. I share an example of how I would like to see your final project: Looking for the right words Take some time to think about a phrase that you would like to use or an existing one. Either way, it has to be a phrase that resonates with you. Alternatively, if you don't find the right phrase for you, you can choose a word that is meaningful for you.

The sketch It's time to land your ideas! Grab a pencil, paper, and maybe an eraser, start working on your sketch and let your hand flow with your ideas. Remember that you can make a few adjustments until you feel comfortable with your piece.
Black and white Start working on your piece digitally. You can start by identifying your anchor points and vectorizing your sketch. For the moment, you should leave everything in gray.
Your lettering Create a color palette. Take this step as the opportunity to use a tool that helps you keep it simple yet stunning. More often than not, less is more. Carry out the necessary details so that your lettering is as good as possible. If you wish, you can also take your lettering to another level using a mock-up that helps you see all its possibilities.
Please don't forget to upload your project! I will be waiting to see what you created with the help of this course. Thank you for allowing me to be your teacher and for getting here. If your project is quite there yet, do not give up, and approach the whole process as a learning experience, an opportunity to practice and get better. If you have any questions throughout the process, do not hesitate to use the forum, I will be happy to help you as quickly as possible, and if you can help your colleagues, please do so. It is always good to learn together. I say goodbye for now, but we will continue in contact through the forum. See you soon! ”

“Final project We have reached the end of the course. I am very glad that you were able to accompany me. I hope that all the tips we saw help you to complement your process. Share with me everything you did, from the sketch you started with, the adjustments you made to the final vectorized piece. I know this process can be a bit frustrating at first or it may take a while to catch the wave, but when you least expect it, you will be vectoring complex pieces and a little harder than you do now. It is a matter of practice and that you give yourself the necessary time. All this that we review in...”
