Urban Sketching: Express Your World in a New Perspective

I thoroughly recommend this online course simply because of its instructors patient style and clear teaching. Plus that its available online and that I can return to it as I complete each step ( I am a perfectionist and struggle to get the drawings right and a bit intimidated of others who had sent in their drawings that looked very skilled vs mine).Busy life, but getting into it as I go.

I'm inspired by the artwork of Lapin, his sketchbooks are inspirational. I recommended this course to my eldest Son Ralph Lauren to continue his gift in art as well as my Daughter Myza. Looking forward for advance courses by Lapin. I wish I could buy some of his sketchbooks of Lapin for my collection.

This was an excellent course. I came to it as an absolute novice and managed to draw at the end of it. If you need the impetus to start sketching - this is it. I have joined 2 Urban Sketching groups now :) Thankyou

this course is very good for beginners indeed. Lapin has a no-nonsense way of explaining things and his warm personality makes the course very enjoyable.

Thus far, this is my favorite Domestika course. The body of work alone presented by Lapin in his sketchbooks are inspirational. It makes me want to rush out there and start drawing everything around me. He presents his ideas well and the lessons are quite interesting.

Really like the work of Lapin and this course was great to show how he constructs his sketches. Picked up some great tips and ideas on this my first run through. I'm sure I will return many times to get the best from the course. If I had one criticism, it would have been good to see more shots of the street scene he was sketching. This would have helped me to compare the sketch to the real thing, especially as the perspective he used is so different. Maybe, a few photos in the course material?
