The best thing about this course has been how inspired I am to get out and sketch now! The exercises are easy to approach, and each one is relatively simple, but they combine to give you a good foundation for urban sketching, and new ideas about how to approach documenting the world through sketching.

PlusI loved watching Lapin draw. I am amazed by the way he can just put down a perfect line with pen, and his beautiful subtle use of color. I liked his flexibility about proportions and his emphasis on story telling by drawing. Very much also appreciate his positive and affirming feedback. I would take another course by him.

It is inspiring to see such a talented artist. Watching Lepin work, makes it look easy, but I know it will take lots and lots of practice. One can pack fairly lightly for their mobile art studio. I am still assembling the materials to start my journey.
