What an inspiring person Laura is! I really love the way how she explaines all the possibilities of all kind of materials. I am definitely having a lot of fun and finding surprises in these excercises.

This course is filled with fun activities, and great tips for artists of all skill levels. What raises it above the others however, is Laura’s engaging and personal manner. She understands the things that prevent us from creating, and isn’t afraid to show her vulnerability in that respect. In the future, I will take any course she teaches.

Este es un curso maravilloso que le recomendaria a todas aquellas personas que se concentran en el resultado y no disfrutan del proceso creativo. Este curso me ha hecho ver que podemos crear maravillas con lo que tengamos en las manos o encontramos en la naturaleza. La profesora Laura explica cada proceso muy bien y facil de entender y seguir. Este es un curso explorativo para descubrir y crear sin juzgarnos. Lo recomiendo totalmente. Thank you so much Laura Mckendry you are amazing.

I thoroughly enjoyed this course. Laura doesn't just teach, she imparts a deep understanding of how to use texture, medium, materials, perspective into creating a well thought out piece of art. At first, I felt a bit overwhelmed, but by the end, i was enthralled by how much I learned.

I totally love this course! I've been searching for some creative inspiration and got it. In this course there are plenty of easy creative techniques to explore different objects, to get rid of inner critic, to draw freely (sketches, exploration). If you are a total beginner may be you'll need some research about materials (which watelcolors and paper to choose), but you'll get some basics in using it. Also I enjoyed simple mixed media techniques that I use now while sketching.

I love having Laura McKendry as an art teacher. I have not painted since I was at school and then was considered a good artist. She has shown me how to loosen up and not be afraid of a sheet of blank paper. I have recommended her to all my arty friends.

I love this course. It was just what I needed to kick-start me drawing more playfully again without worrying about mistakes, and I'm really pleased with the results I've been getting.

I find Laura's teaching style and the course materials helpful, accessible and inspiring and I really like her style of working. I also find it very helpful that the resources remain available, so I can re-watch to get re-inspired at any time.

I am thoroughly enjoying Laura’s course. It’s helped me to really free up in my mark making and material use. I no longer sit at my desk with a pencil but spread a roll of paper out on the floor, strew all sorts of pencils, crayons and paints about me and let myself go. I’ve created things I didn’t know I could. That’s the sign of a great art teacher. I recommend this course to everyone.
