“Now we are going to shoot the same scene, but with different short and medium shots so that in editing we give it a feeling of faster action and see the difference in pace with the sequence shot already shot. The good thing about shooting flat-to-shot is that we can pamper the frames much more and make light adjustments that, for logistical reasons, we cannot do or are not so easy to remove in the sequence shot. There are a number of advantages and disadvantages, but, as always, everything will depend on what we want to convey; the tools are there and we use the ones we need.”
