Youtubers that motivated me to (re) discover polymer clay
I would like to share with you some youtubers who, in 2017, gave me a better understanding of polymer clay and who motivated me to buy new blocks to work with this material in a more professional way. Even today, I really enjoy watching the videos of these artists and video-makers when I'm kneading and shaping my polymer clay :
Stephanie Kilgast
On her channel, this artist talks about themes related to the artistic world while showing time-lapses of the creation of her pieces. The theme of his work focuses on biodiversity, creating organic sculptures that seem to grow on human-made objects.PolymerClayTutor and her blog
For me, this is the most complete and reliable source on polymer clay . In this channel you will find a lot of technical information about polymer clay with demonstrations, tips and product reviews. If you have difficulty with English, you can access that same information on your blog with your browser's automatic translator.ClayClaim
In this show, you will be able to appreciate how the creative Simon makes his numerous sculptures and figures on the theme of the games. Be sure to admire his fantastic stop motion in your channel's intro video.NerdECrafter
Jackie's channel, better known by the name NerdECrafter, is all dedicated to her passion for the world of arts (craft) that she presents in a very fun and enthusiastic way. In her show, in addition to conducting reviews of a craft kit and experimenting with new materials, she also performs sculptures in polymer clay as a hobby.Ace of Clay
The videos on this channel show how this artist makes his sculptures in polymer clay while sharing some tips. His fantasy sculptures have a dark and gothic aspect that recall the well-known filmmaker Tim Burton. -
