“Modeling your matrix piece In this lesson we will model our matrix piece. For this we will use air-drying clay. I will start by measuring my piece. I see that the approximate dimensions of my piece are 16 centimeters and I reckon that I will need about 330 to 400 grams of air-drying clay to do it. With the cutter or a knife I cut the amount of clay that I think I will need. I'll knead it a bit with my hands. Fresh out of the package the clay has its optimum degree of humidity.
