Pictorial Sketchbook with Gouache

Lovely course and lovely teacher! Helps you to really get to know the characteristics and possibilities of gouache, without being slow or boring (I have a short attention span when it comes to basic paint excercises). Beautiful and colorful art. Even though her style is very different from mine I have definitely been inspired and would recommend this course.

Maru es expansiva, transmite su experiencia desde la emoción, a mi me ha producido las ganas de trabajar en formatos todavía más grandes y adorar el Gouaché ( te presenta muy bien el material) te enseña también a reducir paletas y ser muy práctica. Además me encanta como costumiza sus libretas con tipos etc. me ha dado muchas ideas.

Este es uno de los cursos mas divertidos y claros que he tomado. Maru tiene una gran capacidad de explicar con palabras y tecnicas sencillas conceptos complejos y hace que uno se entusiasme para poner manos a la obra. Maru tiene una gran creatividad y la logra transmitir. Aconsejo de todo corazon este curso.

Me encanta el gouache y ha sido una grata sorpresa este curso, muy bien explicado y que permite sacarle todo el partido a este medio y experimentar sin parar. El estilo de Maru está lleno de energía y es muy inspirador, ojalá haga más cursos en Domestika.

My career in design is very structured, refined, and precise... In the past year, I almost let myself forget how important it is for me as an artist bend the rules, experiment, and explore. I LOVE this course and highly recommend it!! Maru is a wonderful artist and illustrator, and with her enthusiastic approach, she reveals some of the mysteries of gouache with practical tricks and techniques. It helps that I love Maru's style and inspirations (David Hockney...a favorite!) but even if your taste is different, you'll like her a lot as a teacher.
