Señorita Lylo
A course by Señorita Lylo
Loly Ghirardi, also known as Señorita Lylo, is an embroiderer and graphic designer based in Barcelona for over 18 years. After graduating from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), she worked on design projects but started to leave aside the digital to give more space to the handmade side of things. That’s how she got hooked on embroidery forever.
Arming herself with the frames, threads, and needles, she creates unique pieces and experiments with different media. Every one of her projects has a conceptual approach and each stitch is accompanied by a story. With time, she got the opportunity to teach everything she knows about embroidery and it is a task that comforts and continues to inspire her more and more every day.
