About the final project for: Circular Tapestry: Design Patterns and Accessories

Circular Tapestry: Design Patterns and Accessories

“We have reached the end of the course. I hope that you have learned everything you needed in each of the lessons that I have prepared for you and, of course, that you have enjoyed them. Remember, if you have not already done so, that you can contact me and tell me your appreciations and opinions as a student of this course, they are very important to me! Now we are going to review the different phases of the final project: Main parts First, following the pattern of the final project of the downloadable template, I have knitted the two main parts that make up our circular bag, starting with one thread and then adding two more until both parts are finished and the remaining threads are finished off.

Loops for the handle Then I sewed the two loops on one of the sides, which are the ones that later serve to insert the handle and carry the bag as a fanny pack.
Side of the bag Next, I have knitted the side back and forth with the main color. First the widest part, then the two narrower strips and, again, the other wider part, so that I have obtained the entire side that surrounds the bag as a result. Afterwards, I have woven in that same side piece the two small loops that serve to insert the carabiners if we want to carry the bag on the shoulder.
Side mounting Then, I have mounted the zipper to the side with small stitches in the gap between the two fine lines, and I have sewn this piece to the two main round pieces. This has allowed me to have the whole body of the bag ready.
Adjustable handle and final result Finally, I have assembled the adjustable handle that allows you to carry the bag in three different ways; slung over the shoulder as a shoulder bag and at the waist as a fanny pack.
Now it's your turn, share your final project by clicking "Create your project". As I have done, share both the final result of your project and the steps that have led you to it. Remember that you can design the pattern you want and put it into practice. Feel free to make the piece you want with the pattern you want, I will be there if you need me, but first give yourself the possibility and freedom to investigate and have as much fun as you want. To finish, I want to thank you for trusting and venturing into this course with me and the rest of the colleagues. You already know that you can contact me through the forum as much as you need, and you can also do it through direct messages on the platform. I will stop by to help you every week and I will try to respond as soon as possible, although, due to my profession, I am always working on several projects at the same time. But, above all, I ask you to be patient, do not be so demanding as not to let yourself enjoy yourself, do not let self-criticism prevent you from moving forward, feel free, so much as to understand that we are here to share learning, that there are no rules, only advice, and that learning always exists, it is only a matter of time. Enjoy the road! ”

“Final project We come to the end of this course. I hope everything you have seen in the lessons is worth it to develop your own circular patterns. Now we are going to see a summary of everything we have seen step by step until reaching the final project. We start by looking at the materials, then we learned how to perform the magic circle, we stand at low point and high point. Later we began to work in circular, we focus on how to make a circle by weaving in a spiral and also closing each turn, and furthermore, we saw the increases and we saw the arrangement of these in eight, ten and twelv...”
