About the final project for: Vector Pattern Illustration for Beginners

Vector Pattern Illustration for Beginners

“I'm glad you chose me to show you the world of patterns in my own way. You lived a journey where you challenged yourself and learned everything you need to be a professional creator of illustrated product collections. I'm so happy for you! The idea of the course is that you can find your own inspiration to choose a unique concept that makes your collection something very original that others want to have at home or accompany them everywhere. Go ahead and create something new! How about testing on animals? Or with a classic tale? Or if you take inspiration from your favorite movie? Don't forget that inspiration can be found wherever you go! So use your cell phone as your right hand when collecting images in your day to day that will then serve as a graphic library to make your next creations. Do not ignore looking for your references to create your mood board, that will help you to be clear about your color palette and the elements that will form your final design. Before sitting down to digitize, make your sketch, always! Believe it or not, this is almost 50% of the work, you will save many processes if you have your concept clear on a sheet, what your Fillers, Fullers, and Coolers will be.

Write down on a colored paper and that you can paste in a visible place all the commands that we mentioned in the course to work on the digitization of your pattern. Remember to start placing the elements from the center to the corners, without worrying at first about some elements crossing, then we will massage our pattern so that it works harmoniously.
Do not ignore the axes tool, so your pattern will be used in a specific format, you never know when you might need it to apply it to a larger format and thus you would be saving time. Finally, it is worth reminding you that the good choice of a mock-up will help you see more clearly how your collection of patterns will look applied to real products. Voilà!
Now it's your turn! Apply all the stages of the process that I explained to you and share in the forum your final project with your process, your creation stages and of course, its final appearance! I hope to see your creations in the attachments of the course and also perhaps in real life. Suddenly I find myself using something you created! Why not? Keep practicing and if you have any questions you can write to me, I will be attentive to continue accompanying you in your process and continue learning together. In addition, I invite you to interact with your colleagues. After all, illustrators benefit immensely from the opinion of our professional colleagues. If my answers take a little while, don't despair! I do my best to fulfill my personal projects and take valuable time to read what you write to me. Talk to you soon! ”
