It's a good course for learning coloring the background!

This course teaches you valuable lessons on distinguishing components of a background & learning how to identify those components when finding reference. While focusing on blocking out your shapes and using color to make an impact.

What is doesn’t teach you is how to draw the lineart for the background. There are other courses if you want to learn perspective and line drawing. You can use the pre-drawn lines for your final.

Overall, I’ve been learning a lot & recommend this course!

So far its been really good! Especially when Susan talks about how to utilize grays in your paintings. I definitely can't wait to finish this course up and use some of the amazing techniques she teaches.
