Illustrations for Patterns with Soul shines when Catalina interacts with nature and the indigenous children of Columbia in her social projects. Inside Domestika's studios, magic happens when she transforms organic motifs into elaborate patterns in Adobe Illustrator, especially when she demos how to recolor designs with various palettes.

I liked the course very much, it's filled with energy just like its name "patterns with soul". And it covers a very important part as a creator to have purpose and meaning so you can really pour your heart and soul into your artwork. I recommended it very much.

So far, I've already been inspired to reread some of my own poetry for inspiration. Images to explore and develop come to my mind.
Watching Catalina draw from nature, I feel even closer vto the trees, leaves, butterflies, and river that give themselves to my spirit.
I will probably find a workaround for Adobe software. There's vectorizing software online that free or low-cost.
This class presents a fun and creative challenge. Thanks!

Catalina is a beautiful soul who uses her artwork to support an art organization for children. Poetry inspires her designs. This course teaches you ways to automatically convert your freehand and digital sketches into vector illustrations, then to manipulate your images to create dynamic repeats. Her process opened up many design ideas for my own patterns and showed me efficient ways to use Adobe software. Unfortunately, Adobe has discontinued one of the programs used in this course.

Very informative course. I learnt a lot of new techniques in illustrator and achieved a pattern that I like. The instructor explains very well I thought the course was harder than this but she made it so simple. Highly recommended.
