“UNIT 2, LESSON 2 DRAWING TECHNIQUES AND EXERCISES In this lesson we're going to do an exercise with four boxes on the paper. We're going to fill those boxes with typography in four different shades of darkness. When we're doing our final image it'll break down some of the necessary steps. It also really helps to get some pen onto paper. First off, we're going to draw four boxes on the paper. It doesn't matter how big these boxes are. We'll outline these boxes in a thicker black pen.
