“I first picked up a camera around 2008 at age 18 and like most people I started taking photos of flowers and my cat. Once that got boring I wanted to take photos of humans and the only one who was always around, always willing to experiment, and never made me feel ashamed if an idea didn’t work out was: myself. Soon after that, I finished school and then studied architecture till 2014 while using the very small amount of the free time to continue photographing. I slowly started to grow a following on Flickr and Facebook, and the first few jobs and interviews happened during this time. As soon as I had completed my studies I became a full-time freelance photographer and since then have worked with companies such as Adobe, Artemide, Disney, Lufthansa, and Sony. From May 2018 till May 2019 I was one of 7 artists in the world selected for the Adobe Creative Residency. ”

In 2018, she was one of the seven international artists selected for the Adobe Creative Residency and has worked for companies such as Adobe, Artemide, Disney, Lufthansa, Sony, and more. Laura also teaches workshops and gives inspirational talks relating to photography throughout the world.
