I really enjoyed the course. The step by step guide is very easy to follow and I love Alex's style. Really happy to see and follow the painting journey - can highly recommend the course!

A very nice course, thank you. Good length of each section and overall information, and very well presented. I did cringe when he used masking tape to mount his painting that way though.

PlusExplain in-depth with simple examples.

Buen curso para conocer y practicar los fundamentos del croquis de arquitectura. Las explicaciones son claras, el profesor es agradable y, para quien lo vio subtitulado, la traducción es muy acertada.

Alex's method of instruction made this course very accessible to me and I felt that I learned a lot not only about his particular style and focus, but about watercolor and sketching in general. I love that I can revisit the various lessons and pick up something new each time I do.

Hasta tiempo de la compra del curso nunca había pensado sobre pintar edificios. Me gusta mucho la forma de hablar de Alex y muchas gracias por todo!

PlusAbsolutely... About half of it was not geared for me -- as an architect I don't need some of what he had to teach -- but it appeared clear and easy to follow for newbies to various forms of perspective. I am having fun wiht the watercolor parts (which was what i was most interested int) and think that you should have more intermediate courses.

Alex Hillkurtz is a delight on instagram. I have been checking out his Live painting sessions for some time now. So when i saw that he had a domestika course coming up, I pre booked it.I enjoyed the simplicity and clarity of instruction and the little tips Alex gave in the classes. Although I have completed the class, I know I would need to rewatch the course and practice multiple times to get better. Thanks Alex

I was expecting a lot more work assignments. Then, when we arrived at the presentation lesson, he doesn't know his stuff. He also assumes everyone is good at calculating. It is better to make the bottom side of a passepartout a little more broad than the top. The small 45 deg. angle cutter is not very precise and you ruin a lot of paper before you ever have it right, because it is simply too small. Better buy a larger version or let professionals cut your passepartouts is my advice.

Me gusta el resultado conseguido sin tener que mantener el control de complicadas capas y con la tinta resaltando las partes que acaban transmitiendo el todo

I would recommend this course. Yes. I think it is a very nice first attempt to approach watercolor. It is perfect for beginners. Alex's way to present the themes is smooth and professional.
